My darling Charlie

I was so glad to have your letter by last mail and to hear that you are well. We have just had P. Cards of Nora and her little daughter they are both lovely - I am feeling pretty well - I have every comfort I can possibly get - most devoted children one and all and two splendid nurses. Your father keeps well - but I am so sorry for him! I do not think he realizes how ill I am - I am so glad we had such a nice time with you, dear Charlie, last year - I think of you so often - I pray God to keep you in health to come back to your dear wife and children. My room is a bower of roses and other flowers. Every one is so kind to me. Good bye, darling, God bless you - with fondest love. Ever your loving mother.

S. J. Ingledew
